Our menu is made up of fresh, locally sourced produce including daily seasonal specials and a wonderful traditional Sunday roast. We take pride in serving top quality food at reasonable prices. We’re open all day, seven days a week, serving food between 12pm and 2.30pm and 6pm until 9.30pm daily, and all day at weekends.

In our enclosed beer garden, you will find our newly converted barn, the ‘Old Stables’ – a wonderful, unique venue available for private and business functions. The perfect setting for a meeting, networking event, birthday party, celebratory dinner, christening or wedding.

Our current guest beers

Northumbrian Blonde, Mordue Brewery 4.0% abv

This is a light straw coloured blonde beer with a smell that’s apricots in a wicker basket. There’s a super light caramel wafer malt and and good lemony hops. They’re dry, zesty, full of green herbs and grapefruit skins that make for a finish that’s fresh, crisp and clean.

Blackcurrant Mild, Itchen Valley Brewery 3.7% abv

Blackcurrant-juice infusions help give this dark-brown, full-bodied ale its smoky undertones and fruity zing. Slightly malty.
Mild refers to lack of any hop flavor or aroma.

Rhymney Export 5.0% abv

A heady flavour from a combination of mixed malts, carefully and skilfully mixed by hand. Ripe fruits and faint toast in the aroma. Light toffee, mild citrus bitters in the flavour.
The Rhymney Brewery, Dowlais has taken up the most famous name in Welsh brewing to emphasise the fact that they are bringing back the old traditional flavours using modern methods and organic natural ingredients.
